Where are your courses held?
All of my courses are held at The Academy & Beauty Room, my beautiful home-based salon and training space in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, Suffolk.
The salon is located on the side of my home, providing a private, comfortable and professional environment where I can offer personalised one-to-one training.
Are your courses fully accredited?
Yes! My training courses are fully accredited. I have gone through a rigorous certification process to ensure that my courses meet the required industry standards and provide you with recognised training.
Can I get insurance to do treatments straight after doing a course?
During your training, I can introduce you to an insurance provider that I work with and recommend. Once you have successfully completed your course, you can contact them, or your own chosen insurance provider, to arrange the appropriate cover.
You will deal directly with the insurance company, and it is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct insurance in place before offering treatments to clients.
I’m already certified in a course. Should I book on to the course?
Absolutely! This will depend on how confident you currently feel with your knowledge and practical skills.
Some of my students are already qualified but feel they need more hands-on experience, a refresher or simply a confidence boost. My one-to-one training allows me to focus on the areas you feel you need to improve.
And remember, My Promise means that if you feel you need an extra confidence boost after completing your course, you can resit your course free of charge within 6 months of your original course date.
Do I need any qualifications to be able to do your courses?
For many of my courses, no previous qualifications are required. However, some of my more advanced courses do have specific entry requirements or criteria that you will need to meet.
Any requirements will be clearly detailed on the individual course listing, so you’ll know exactly what is needed before booking.
